Benedicta is a bilingual lawyer (French and English) with expertise in corporate and commercial law, sustainability and climate change, and intellectual property.
With a strong background in law and sustainability, she advises organizations on navigating climate-related challenges and regulatory compliance. Trained by the World Bank and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), she specializes in sustainability reporting, environmental systems management, and ESG strategies for businesses and non-governmental organizations. Benedicta also serves as executive council member for various mining and climate change NGOs, where she contributes valuable insights on the impact of climate change on organizations, drawing on her combined knowledge of legal frameworks and sustainability practices. Passionate about driving positive change, she works closely with clients to develop sustainable solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In addition to her sustainability practice, Benedicta has extensive experience in intellectual property law, assisting both local and international clients in protecting and enforcing their rights. Her work spans trademark registration, copyright protection, and IP portfolio management, as well as advising on licensing agreements and brand protection strategies. She regularly guides start-ups, SMEs, and creative businesses on how to safeguard and maximize the commercial value of their intellectual property assets within Ghana and across borders.
Her corporate and commercial law practice includes advising on business formation, contract drafting and review, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks, with a focus on helping businesses operate effectively within Ghana’s evolving legal and regulatory landscape.
Benedicta obtained her LL.B. from the University of Ghana, Legon, and was called to the Ghana Bar in 2022 after completing her professional training at the Ghana School of Law.
